Google introduced a nifty little feature, which will quickly and easily reveal to you your public IP address. An IP address is essentially your street address online. It tracks back to your house and it’s how the internet makes sure when you visit ninjadesk.com the right computer is getting the right information. Now, it’s true most of the time you probably don’t care what your IP address is, however, as soon as something goes wrong with your network connectivity (such as not being able to connect to a website) it’s likely the first thing tech support is going to ask you for.
The task of figuring out your IP address was a little confusing before for someone new to the concept, but thankfully Google has made it easy for everyone.
Simply visit Google.com and search for “IP Address” (or even just IP).
